Honor of Kings (HOK): These 4 are the real support gods

Time: 2026-01-12 00:00:00

Supports are super popular (especially with girl players), right? Most supports focus on peeling for damage dealers, but some can totally carry the pace of the game—they're just as clutch as junglers or mages. These days, everyone loves “pace-setting supports” and these four are the real MVPs for climbing ranks fast.

Dyadia

Dyadia's kit is insanely versatile—she's part healer, part enchanter, part disruptor, and that's why she's a high-tier menace.

Her passive (Melodic Swing) lets her periodically fire off a boosted basic attack: it knocks enemies back, lets her jump away and earns her gold (plus resets the passive faster) when she uses her heals or debuffs.

Her core moves: Skill 1 (Heartlink) heals a teammate—if two healed allies stick close, they get extra heals + speed. Hit a already-healed ally again, and she dashes to them for a double heal/speed boost (you get a 5s re-cast window, don't waste it!). Then Skill 2 (Bitter Farewell) marks enemies to dot them and reveal them—if two marked enemies cluster, the dot stops… but re-casting it on a marked target lets her dash in, stun them, and keep the damage going.

Top it off with her ult (Destined Encounter): a wave of wisps that heals/buffs teammates and marks/damages enemies all at once.

When she chains an enemy, she can even interrupt game-changing ults (like Lu Bu's ultimate or Kongming's energy blast)—perfect for helping teammates secure kills. Her engage potential in high tiers is unstoppable: lie in a bush or flank, and she'll flip the fight in seconds. Plus, her passive speeds up team rotations—whether you're invading the jungle or helping a lane, you'll always get there first.

Kui (Zhong Kui)

Kui had to make this list,Kui's the ultimate “low-effort high-reward” support—no fancy mechanics, just chaos and intimidation. As soon as the enemy picks him, you already know the game's gonna suck.

First, his passive (Ethereal Outburst): take a big single hit of damage or die, and he'll blow up to deal AOE damage around him. Even when he's dead, he's still messing with the enemy.

His bread and butter: Skill 2 (Join Me)—that iconic chain hook. Throw it at enemies, and it pulls them right to him (plus deals damage). Oh, and unlocking this skill gives him a passive: every kill/assist he gets boosts his max health—so he gets tankier the more he plays.

Pair that hook with Skill 1 (Mortals!): a quick AOE that damages and slows enemies. Then pop his ult (Into the Void): it blasts repeated damage and slows everyone nearby. But here's the kicker—if you hook someone (Skill 2 marks them), the ult's slow turns into a stun for that target.

Enemy squishies: Hook 'em, ult to stun, and delete them before they can react. High-tier players nail those hooks, so Kui's always a top pick. But let's be real: there's “their Zhong Kui” and “my Zhong Kui”.

Guiguzi

Guiguzi's pick rate isn't that high right now, but he's still a beast of a support—you mostly see him in high-tier ranked comps. His whole kit is built to jump enemies and snowball fights.

First, his passive (The Laws of Nature): he goes invisible periodically, and his next basic attack hits harder and slows enemies. Perfect for sneaky pokes.

Then Skill 2 (The Animist): summon sprites that, after a tiny delay, yank nearby enemies in, deal damage and stun them. Hit an enemy hero with this You get a shield and share a shield with your team—tankier and disruptive, all in one.

Top it off with his ult (Prophecy - Out of Sight): after a 1-second windup, he turns himself and nearby teammates invisible (plus speed boost) and reveals the closest enemy.

So you can sneak an entire squad into the enemy backline, pop Skill 2 to stun their squishies, and delete them before they know what hit 'em.

A good Guiguzi doesn't just support—he orchestrates ambushes faster than most assassins.

Gao Changgong

Anyone who's played Gao Changgong as support loves the vibe—win or lose, deleting Xiao Qiao is non-negotiable.

His support playstyle is all about chaos (you'll spot it a lot in Kic too), and he's broken early game.

Especially paired with an ADC: when the ADC overextends, Gao pops his ult (Strike) to exit stealth and dash through enemies. Then he follows up with Sling (2nd skill)—a dagger that slows, marks the target, and lets him stun + heal when he attacks the marked enemy. By that point, the enemy's half-dead and locked down; a few auto-attacks finish the job.

You rarely see support Gao Changgong in low tiers—if you do? watch your back.
