Limited-time 5★ characters have been released throughout Genshin Impact’s lifespan, but due to differences in strength, meta relevance, and popularity, their ownership rates vary widely. Based on data from the Ver. 6.3 Part 2 Spiral Abyss, here’s a rundown of the Top 10 rarest limited 5★ characters — collect them all, and you’re living the “rare account” life!
Top 10 – Wriothesley
Ownership Rate: 17.1%
Wriothesley, the Cryo main DPS from Fontaine, has remained a niche pick since his release. His low usage rate reflects his limited appeal outside of die-hard fans — many of whom clear the Spiral Abyss solo with him.
Top 9 – Klee
Ownership Rate: 17%
Klee, a launch-era Pyro main DPS from Mondstadt (Ver. 1.0), has long been overshadowed by newer Pyro units. Even with Dendro reactions boosting some older characters, Klee’s damage and kit can’t keep up. Most current owners are veterans or true fans.
Top 8 – Cyno

Once hyped as Sumeru’s “big 3.0 DPS,” Cyno’s extremely long skill duration earned him the “prisoner” meme. Now considered a gacha trap for many, only loyal players still use him.
Top 7 – Emilie

Emilie, the Perfumer, is a highly specialized Burning support for Kinich’s team. Outside of that narrow use case, her value plummets. With the Burning team rarely seeing play, and minimal story presence, she’s firmly a niche pick.

Eula’s record-breaking ~700-day rerun drought made her hard to obtain for new players. On top of that, Physical damage has fallen out of favor, further lowering her ownership.
Top 5 – Lyney
Ownership Rate: 13.3%
Lyney, Fontaine’s bow-using charge-attack DPS, struggles on mobile and has fallen behind in today’s meta. These factors combine to make him one of the rarer 5★s.
Top 4 – Arataki Itto
Ownership Rate: 12.9%
A Geo main DPS from the Inazuma era, Itto relies on pure Geo teams, which have always been niche. Even with new reactions like Lunar Crystallize, old Geo DPS don’t benefit.
Top 3 – Sigewinne
Ownership Rate: 11.8%
Sigewinne, a Hydro healer from Ver. 4.7, lacks both high personal damage and team utility. In a power-creep-heavy Fontaine meta, simple healers struggle to find a spot.
Top 2 – Chiori
Ownership Rate: 11.3%
Chiori, a Geo sub-DPS, suffers from limited team comps and low 0命 damage. Jokingly called “minus 6-star” by some, her rarity is no surprise.
Top 1 – Albedo
Ownership Rate: 11.3%
Albedo, also Geo, takes the bottom spot. To make things worse, his signature 5★ weapon, Cinnabar Spindle, is event-exclusive and will never rerun. No dedicated weapon for a limited character deters many potential pulls.
