Hello Administrators! The wait is finally over. With Arknights: Endfield officially launching tomorrow (the 22nd), the developers have released crucial details regarding the Launch Banners (Rate-Up) and significant changes to the gacha system.
If you are wondering "Who should I pull?" or "How do I build the best team early on?", you are in the right place. We have analyzed the confirmed banners and compiled a strategy to help you maximize your resources.
1. Launch Banner Schedule
Upon server opening, three Limited Character Banners will rotate. Each character will have a rate-up duration of 15 days:
- Levantine (莱万汀): Fire Element Main DPS
- Jielpeita (洁尔佩塔): Universal Support
- Yvonne (伊冯): Arts DPS (Reworked)
Note on Weapons: The Weapon Banner duration is longer. While no closing date is confirmed, we estimate it will last approximately 1.5 months.
2. Character Analysis: The "Big Three"
Before you spend your currency, here is a breakdown of the featured units:
- Levantine (The Fire Nuker): Currently the strongest Fire Element Main Carry (DPS). Her Ultimate ability allows her to deal massive damage numbers (the "999 effect"). If you want raw power, she is the top choice.
- Jielpeita (The Universal Buffer): A highly versatile Support unit. She fits perfectly into almost any team composition. Investing in a universal support is usually a safe bet for long-term value.
- Yvonne (The Wild Card): Yvonne received major changes in the Open Beta. Her specific power level depends on the final launch stats. We recommend waiting for day-one testing before committing to her banner.
3. Strategic Pull Guide: Based on Your "Standard Banner" Results
In the early game, resources are scarce. Your strategy for the Limited Banners should depend heavily on which Standard 6-Star characters you pull from the Beginner Banner and your first ~60 Standard pulls.
Here is our "If X, Pull Y" scenario guide:
Scenario A: You pulled Eldara (艾尔黛拉)
- Role: Healer + Support.
- Analysis: While strong for early progression, Eldara is often given for free. Pulling a duplicate isn't ideal.
- Advice: Since you already have a support, you can skip Jielpeita. Focus your pulls on a Main DPS like Levantine or Yvonne.
Scenario B: You pulled Ember (余烬)
- Role: Fire Element Tank (Great Shielder).
- Analysis: A very universal tank.
- Advice: Prioritize pulling Levantine. Combining Ember (Tank) with Levantine (DPS) creates a powerful Mono-Fire Team instantly.
Scenario C: You pulled Junwei (骏卫 - "Young Master")
- Role: Physical DPS.
- Analysis: A strong physical attacker. However, the three Launch Banner characters (Levantine, Jielpeita, Yvonne) are primarily Arts/Magic focused and do not synergize well with him.
- Advice: Save your pulls for a future Physical support or start building a second team.
Scenario D: You pulled Lifeng (黎风)
- Role: Physical Sub-DPS.
- Analysis: Generally considered weaker than Junwei. He works well as a sub-DPS for characters like Chen Qianyu.
- Advice: Prioritize supports or save.
Scenario E: You pulled Perley (别礼)
- Role: Ice Element Main DPS.
- Analysis: An extremely high-value unit. Worth investing in.
- Advice: Pull Jielpeita to support him. Regarding Yvonne (who might pair with him), wait for testing to see if their synergy is worth the cost.
4. Editor's Pick: Standard Character Ranking
Based on our Closed Beta experience, here is the priority ranking for the Standard characters mentioned above:
- Perley (别礼) - Top Tier Ice Carry
- Ember (余烬) - Essential Tank
- Junwei (骏卫) - Solid Physical DPS
- Lifeng (黎风) - Niche Sub-DPS
- Eldara (艾尔黛拉) - Good, but free unit diminishes gacha value
5. The New "Cashback" Mechanic
Important Update: The launch version introduces a new pity mechanic! The Rule: After making 30 pulls on a banner, you will be refunded 10 pulls for that specific banner.
