Finally, the long-debated Genshin Impact 6.4 banners have been confirmed:
- First half: Flins + Varka
- Second half: Escoffier + Skirk (rerun together)
The good news is we also have fresh intel on the 6.5–6.7 banners. Let’s break it down.
Version 6.5
Two brand-new characters are joining:
- Lohen — confirmed as a Geo support, launching alongside Linnea in 6.5.
- Linnea — Cryo catalyst user, leaning towards support/sub-DPS. She can combo with Marionette for Superconduct, and fits nicely into other Cryo teams.
Important note: After Lohen’s limited run in 6.5, he’ll enter the Standard Banner in 6.6.
As for reruns, following the pattern of Furina + Zhongli, the two slots will go to Raiden Shogun and Arlecchino (Fire Archon).
Version 6.6
New characters:
- Four-star magic DPS Greta
- Fire-element magic buffer Nicole — catalyst user, no beret in his banner art.
Rerun slots:
- First half: Durin (accompanying)
- Second half: Lauma + Nefer
Leaks also hint that alongside Nikko, the Mondstadt Mixed Banner, the second phase of magic character buffs, and the new Mondstadt map Dornman Port will all drop in 6.6.
That raises the question: what happens to the Mondstadt Mixed Banner?
- Venti isn’t joining.
- Varka and Durin are too new.
- Limited characters available: Klee, Albedo, Yoimiya.
- Standard characters: Diluc, Jean, Mona, and soon Lohen.
Even if they add Lohen to the Mixed Banner, who’s brave enough to roll it?
Version 6.7
- Marionette returns to Fontaine to begin her resurrection arc.
- Rumor says she’ll suffer amnesia beforehand, which explains whispers of a possible personality shift. Don’t worry — she’ll regain her memories later, and her classic tsundere charm should return.
- Better yet, Marionette gets a sleeker, upgraded model — Electro sword DPS, second main banner character of Nod-Krai. The first main banner character, Columbina, will also make her first rerun in 6.7. Will this push total revenue to new heights?
Extra Intel
Word is The Captain will awaken in 6.7 and deliver the Heart of the Fire Archon to Snezhnaya. Meanwhile, The Cryo Archon will officially debut — early images give off big “giant duck” vibes. With the Pyro, Electro, Dendro, and Anemo Archons having clear real-world inspirations, it remains to be seen if players will embrace this design.
